A winner was selected from 34 designs submitted by 7 freelance designers.
Opti-Coat
New vehicle owners and car enthusiasts. We provide a range of protective coatings using cutting edge technology and chemistry. Our number one selling product is called Opti-Coat Pro+ which is a ceramic clear coat.
We are looking for a colour scheme similar to our current website which is light coloured rather than dark coloured backgrounds etc.
Edit - I am updating this comment above. Our initial preference was for a light coloured scheme however a designer has successfully showed us that a dark scheme can also work.
Style is to be the parallex style of website. Traditional style menu at the top with logo.
The background will be filled with a video running (please take a screen shot from here for demo http://youtu.be/ZaJ_56M08_Y). A "call to action" will be overlayed on the video. This is all you will see on the screen and then arrows indicating to scroll down.
Below will be an interactive map of our distributors across the world. As you scroll down you will see this overlay over the top of the video in the background which will be stationary.
Below the map will be a three column section with an about us, news feed in centre and twitter feed on right.
Below this will be the footer.
Homepage parallex style. See attached basic layout demo. Use this as a concept only. We will be looking for detailed graphics in the design from someone with good attention to detail.
Second page is just to outline how you would display a priduct page such as these:
http://optimumcarcare.com.au/our-products or http://optimumcarcare.com.au/optimu…tions=cart
colours should be according to our logo (blue) with white background and then non conflicting colours such as grey etc. Please refer to concept for similar colours.
The "call to action" is very important. The concept design doesn't present this very well so don't try to copy it and think about how to overlay it to make the customer want to look at it and click it. You can use the vertical Opti-Coat Pro+ logo if you like.
Visit http://www.opticoat.com.au and you will find more graphics such as the horizontal logo, products etc if you need them.
