Xandreanx has been so fast and responsive. He paid close attention to all information shared and has been great to work with through every stage. Plus, the work itself is creative in the details and beautiful. It represents the vision we had beautifully. Great execution. We are very happy and look forward to working with him again.
How info xM5 started their web page design journey

Ecommerce website for modern martial arts equipment, clothing, supplements, training gear and similar. We also have a physical store in Stockholm, Sweden.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What do you have in mind for the style and theme of the web page?
The ecommerce solution that we use ( http://www.starweb.se ) has updated their platform to be more modern and responsive. And with that we need a new design. Not too cluttered and let the products create the content. Easy to navigate. White background as most of our productpictures are white. Orange details on for example icons, menu arrows, buttons etc. Header and footer perhaps grey/black colors. PASTEL COLOR TONE.
The website has to have a dropdown menutree that includes search/cart on the same row and follows at the top of the page as you scroll down. We have a lot of subcategories of products so we want the sitenavigaton to be easy and available.
Nice modern font throughout the site. Roboto or Dosis are good examples. Or general Sans fonts. Nothing too quirky though, it has to look professional.
(Page 1) Landing page: logo, menus and options at the top. Bannerspace below followed by the latest products. Below that comes social media and footer with contact, site navigation etc.
(Page 2) Mobile/responsive version of landingpage.
(Page 3) Product page (page that displays a single product)
What to avoid
Dont make banners fill from side to side. It's hard to find high resolution material.
I have attached some images that outline the elements that we need on the website. dont let them sway your designchoices too much as they only work to show the general layout. jabbweb2016a and jabbweb2016b include the links & options that are essential in the header. I have also attached a sheet that contains the links/pages that our dropdown will contain (produktmeny.zip)
Page width should be around 1200 pixels but we dont have an absolute number. Enough to have 4 clear images per row while browsing categories but not endless side to side as we want to keep down the size of the main banner space.
Starweb is for swedish customer but you can browse the websites in english to get a feel for their platform. you can also sign up for a free 30 day trial site to play around in the admin part.
Our logo is also attached in vectorformat. black/white options.
We do want some sort of social media at the bottom, but perhaps its overkill with feeds from all of them. A clean feed of instagram (similar to the finch theme linked above) with simple buttons to facebook and twitter could work. But if you can incorporate feeds from fb and twitter without getting it too cluttered that'd be great.
Please let us know if there's any important information missing.
