Homepage to retain the Nivo Slider it already has
Have immediate access to the product categories and brands (‘vendors’)
Replace Featured Products (as per existing website) with Product Categories (great pic for each group with category name underneath each one) however would be good to have them positioned a little higher (remove the dead space between slider and Featured Products) AND to have a light, elegant border around each individual category to better separate them visually
Fill entire width of screen (even though actual content might not) instead of current layout whereby website appears to be a white page sitting on a black background
Search box to be prominent in design and position (current position – far right in top nav bar – seems to work well)
Pls add a small, discrete “Retailer login” link (top right of website?)
Facebook link on top right
Would be great to have a ‘News’ section (square? rectangle?) that’s prominent on homepage (but is actually just a website page that we can update ourselves with latest info).
