writeio is a new marketplace for writers. writeio enables writers to sell their time, talent and products.
Yes, see attached image
I think evernote.com is a perfect home page. Please be inspired by the simplicity and power of ever note's home page without copying it.
My developers have completed work on the site and we're about to go live however I think the talented designers of 99designs can greatly improve upon the current design and give it some zing. I'd like a home page that is attractive yet simple. It should also convey the writeio concept to all visitors - both writers and prospective buyers. Reminder: writeio (www.writeio.com) is a marketplace for writers where writers can create stores and sell their creative output (e.g. best man speeches, sample business plans, business letters, eulogies etc). The goal of the home page are as follows: 1) Quickly convey the purpose of writeio. 2) Writers should want to create a store and sell their products. 3) Buyers should be impressed and feel confidence so that they are willing to purchase from writeio. 4) The design must be such that users can easily search the site and/or browse the directory of products by category PLEASE NOTE - I think there are too many elements on the current design, particularly the bottom of the page. I welcome your modifying/removing any element on the attached page to match your design goals in keeping with my business goals above. I expect that the winning design will have fewer elements than the current design. Thank-you
The attached sample page has quite a bit going for it but it has too much going on and as a result it does not convey the purpose of writeio (www.writeio.com). Note I do like the (simple) logo and the top bar and bottom box will appear as is on every other page on the site *however* you should feel full freedom to change anything and everything from the attached design. If it was perfect I wouldn't be listing this job. I would hope to work with the winning designer on my next project(s). Thank-you and good luck.
