Attorney & Law
Briefly describe what you do and your target audience. Harmers is a multi award winning boutique Australian employment and industrial law firm. The firm has run some of the countries landmark cases across the areas of discrimination, harassment and industrial relations law. The firm’s practice areas include: Change Management, Industrial Relations, Employment, Work Health & Safety, Human Rights & Equal Opportunity, Legal Risk Management, Investigations and Training. Harmers is the Australian member firm for L&E Global – the worlds 1st integrated legal alliance of premier and award winning labour and employment law firms across North America, Latin America, Europe and the Asia Pacific Region (and includes 300 partners and 1250+ lawyers). The firm is dedicated to the promotion of human rights and justice both in Australia and internationally – supporting schools, hospitals and community services in Africa and indigenous Australia. The firm acts on both sides of the employment relationship - representing both employers (corporate clients) as well as employees (against their employers). Target audience The demographic of our corporate practice is: - senior executives (CEOs and executive/non-executive board directors), and - senior legal and human resources directors. - Harmers is also unique in that it provides advice to participants across the spectrum of workplace relations in Australia. This includes primarily blue-chip corporate employers – ranging from companies ranked in the Top 5 in the world, on a capitalisation basis, through to small businesses; employer groups and major unions; government at all levels; as well as an array of individuals including prominent CEOs and media personalities, through to pro bono clients otherwise unable to access justice without the firm’s support.
We have a new logo and colour scheme (from a 99 Designs brand competition launched late last year). Our colours are now navy, grey and white. Colour values are as follows: Blue: R0 G39 B77 Grey: R105 G106 B109 We are looking for a contemporary and modern corporate website which is both simple and sophisticated.
Please see design brief (word document attached) HOME PAGE INCLUSIONS: We would like to visually display the following items on the home page: Introduction text on firm Harmers Workplace Lawyers was formed in 1996 and is one of Australia’s largest employment and industrial law practices with offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. The firm focuses on innovative, high quality problem solving and a preventive approach to law across all areas of employment and industrial law. We are perhaps unique in Australian employment practices in that, while having an emphasis on corporate Australia and its senior executives, the firm seeks to implement workplace fairness for all, and will represent employers, employees and their representative organisations as needed. Harmers has represented many of Australia’s largest corporations, CEOs and senior executives across a broad range of industries, and has run some of Australia’s landmark cases in employment and discrimination. Harmers is a multi-award winning firm, 7 times winner of the ALB Australasian Law Awards “Employment Specialist Firm of the Year”; and as the Australian member firm for L&E Global, has been ranked by Chambers Global in the “Band 1 – Global – Wide Employment Law Network” category for 2013 & 2014.
