nico Y got their new web page design by running a design contest:
Create a unique webpage for an intuitive referral-based job board

Our website does peer-to-peer recruiting. We post jobs from companies, and our users can share these jobs with their qualified friends. If the qualified friend gets the job, both user and successful applicant get a monetary reward. Additionally, every user can apply for any position on the page. Our audience includes the following groups: college students, young professionals, first time job seekers, passive job seekers. The site should be playful and fun and not resemble your typical job search engine. The main objective of the site is discovery and sharing rather than applying to positions.
We want to keep it inviting, simple, fun, bright and puristic. The design style should be flat. So far we have used century gothic but would not be opposed to different typography.
What to avoid
