Forge Hemp Co. sells premium-grade, high-strength CBD & hemp oil infused products (lotions, balms, creams, gel, tinctures, edibles, hemp protein powder, etc.) for the treatment of muscle and joint pain/inflammation, and general wellness. We add resinous, earthy essential oils such as frankincense, benzoin, and black pepper. Our bottles and jars are amber glass with black lids, or flat tins, like an apothecary. We want our brand to project strength and robustness, but not skew exclusively toward men/masculine or turn women off (they are the primary purchasers of wellness products). Our target audience is men and women looking for premium, high-strength CBD -- from athletes needing a pre- or post-workout muscle treatment, to retirees with arthritis, to busy moms with a backache.
UPDATE 08/23/19 @ 09:30 MST
I'm open to having a hemp leaf included in the logo somewhere (or not at all), but I would like to see our name ("Forge Hemp Co." or "Forge Hemp Company") be the primary aspect of the logo.
The word "forge" means "create or build, as a relationship or new conditions." Our company wants to introduce hemp and CBD to more people because it has the power to create new conditions in their lives (less pain, better sleep, less anxiety, etc).
The word "forge" also relates to metal work: "to make or shape a metal object by heating it in a fire or furnace." I'm NOT looking for an iron forge (the smithing tool) in front of a hemp leaf :) I'm still looking for clean, sophisticated, and approachable. But perhaps the design has an essence of authentic craftsmanship? A little grit?
