How kenmaszy started their logo & social media pack journey
Who are you known as?
What’s your company slogan?
Gear for fishermen
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Seaworx supplies products that fishermen use every day on the water. These products include bait tables, rod accessories, dredges and other items. We don’t sell the “sexy” stuff (i.e. sunglasses or fishing reels), more the nut and bolt items that every fishermen needs.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What colors do you want to see in your design?
Other color requirements
I'd like to explore the following colors:
Blues: Knowledge, trust, calm and honesty.
Light neutrals: Purity, balance and sophistication.
Let designers make suggestions:
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
Seaworx is focused on saltwater fishing consumers so anything to do with bass fishing (aka freshwater fishing) is not relevant. If there are going to be fish images included in the design, they should be limited to tuna, marlin, sailfish, wahoo, or dolphin (mahi). It would also be appropriate to use an image of a frigate bird in the design.
Fishermen like to display the brand of products they use so the Seaworx logo should look good on a baseball cap or t-shirt. Though not required, the logo could incorporate some kind of symbol, line drawing, or image.
I don’t have any demographic info on the ideal client but can tell you they are buying the following brands: http://www.fathomoffshore.com http://www.pelagicgear.com http://www.yellowfin.com http://www.hukgear.com http://www.costadelmar.com
I included the slogan “gear for fishermen” in the brief. It is not required to use it in the logo development. If it makes sense to use it, that is fine too.
7/19: I forgot to mention....not only are the above mentioned companies serving the same target market as Seaworx, but I like the design of each brand
