Amazing job. Mark communicates and implements changes efficiently and brings a lot of knowledge and experience of design to any project. I could tell he was a professional immediately.
It was awesome working with this designer. We really liked his overall design and concept, and it fit our product exactly. Minor changes to the design were done quickly and designer's responsiveness was always prompt. We are very happy with the final product.
Mavsweep was very pro and easy to work with. I had multiple revisions and am still working with him to tweek the design to the finalised packaging. I would highly recommend his work and will be using him in future business projects!
Excellent work, quick turn around, everything that I expected and a little bit more.
How dclaroni started their product packaging journey
What colors do you want to see in your design?
Other color requirements
Let's try to go with Black/gray/white (off white is okay) packaging and Gold lettering with my dog, Deuce (named after Deuce McAlister) incorporated. Think the city of New Orleans and the New Orleans Saints - and incorporate some fleur-de-lis'. Within 5 seconds, a consumer should be able to tell what it is they are looking at (or what I am selling).
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Animal & Pet
work in progress (deuceswilddogs.com) - which may be another opportunity for designer I choose to work with
Deuce's Wild Bark-Less (or Bark Control) Collar
Description of the product
Dog Bark Collar - the collar shocks or vibrates when the dog barks and he/she will learn not to bark when the collar is on.
Description of the product target audience
Dog owners with dogs that bark or have certain tenant guidelines requiring them.
I need the packaging design for the product - I have provided die-lines and images of Deuce. New Orleans theme with black/gray/white packaging and gold lettering should be the main colors - with gold lettering. I want new orleans culture (fleur de lis') incorporated into the design. The images of my dog, Deuce, are the images that need to be used as the dog on the packaging (No labs, golden retrievers, poodles, etc.) - it needs to be Deuce. If you want to provide some drafts of him that could be cool, just keep in mind that I want this listing to stand out and have some SWAG. Everything on the market looks like its packaging for frontline or heartguard. You can interpret the design guidelines as you see fit but I want the packaging to feel urban, clean and modern. Also - the font should be almost a logo in itself in a sense, not just times new roman or standard font.
What to avoid
Stick to the brief and you should be at a good starting point. Then can discuss with the artist during/throughout the creative process. Try to stick to guidelines but be creative. I want this to stand out from what is on market, which is very boring. See current designs as a lot of them are headed in the right direction - but apply your own, unique style.
See attachment - 45X75mm on the sides, 80X75mm on top and bottom, 80X45 for the closing flap
Please use these die lines as guidance
I like incorporating things in the background that are subtle - think New Orleans skyline in the background - with the superdome featured

This will be good for a sticker - that I will most likely place on the unit - but basically it helps you see the outlines
I like the idea of adding cartoon or some of these other elements you see in the other similar pictures.
