What's your vision?
Hi and thanks for stopping by this contest. I need a cover designed for an eBook titled, "Bigger, Leaner, Stronger" and with the following subtitle: "The Simple Science of Building the Ultimate Male Body." Both the title and subtitle must be on the cover. The author's name needs to be on the cover too, which is "Sean Clouden." The cover should be on the simpler side with the title bold and eye-catching. The cover should have an image of a male body. Please don't use images of over-steroided bodybuilders as most guys don't want to look like that--they want to look lean and muscular, like this: http://imgur.com/a/k6yl8. (Don't use these pictures--they are just examples.) VERY IMPORTANT: The cover will first be viewed as a small thumbnail on Amazon, B&N, etc., and it needs to grab your attention at this size and not look like a cluttered mess. How it looks as a thumbnail is almost more important than how it looks at full size. Feel free to get creative and show your style. I don't have any preferred color scheme but it should probably have some color. As it's a book cover, a 3:4 aspect ratio should be used (most e-readers work best with a 600px by 800px cover). Below are some examples of cover styles that could work. http://bookcoverarchive.com/book/moral_relativism The title would need to be bigger and bolder but the concept of a plain cover with a bold title and one striking image could work. http://bookcoverarchive.com/book/exit_ghost Although a bit ugly, the idea could work: simple, big, bold, with some color. http://bookcoverarchive.com/book/crisis_economics Ditto. http://www.amazon.com/Triathletes-Training-Bible-Joe-Friel/dp/1934030198/ref=zg_bs_4645_44 Bold title, design catches your eye. If you have an idea that you like that doesn't conform to any of these examples, go with it! AI or PSD file, please.
