REIN is a membership-based organziation. We educate and support our Members in the process of becoming sophisticated real estate investors. By taking our courses, reading our research, and using the experts in our network, our Members learn how to buy and manage cash-flowing investment properties that set them up for long-term wealth and financial independence.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
We have a 120-page research report that lists the top 10 investment towns in the Province of Ontario for 2012. It currently exists as a Word doc, and we also have a pdf version that we have used to send out to our Members. However, we have bigger and better things in mind for this report, and so we would like to have it re-designed by a pro. We need to bring it's appearance and presentation up a couple of levels - so it needs to be given a new cover, and a better page layout.
We will need a number of versions of this document. They are:
- a version that incorporates about 5 or 6 blank pages for advertising and promotional messaging (to be inserted by our team here at a later date)
- a version that excludes these blank pages (no advertising)
- an executive summary (5 or 6 pages - copy will be provided to you)
- we would like a templated version for each of the top 10 towns individually (i.e. we would like to carve out each one of the 10 towns on their own and have a separate report for each)- so that means 10 much shorter individual reports)
I have attached a copy of the Executive Summary of this report (pdf) to this post so that you can get a sense of the current format and overall presentation of the larger document. As you can see, in it's existing format and style, it is acceptable, but not nearly as good as it can be. We need the document to be tranformed so that it exudes credibility, professonalism, thoroughness, accuracy, and beauty.
What is the best strategy here - is the idea to create a template into which we can dump all our content? Or does each individual report need to be created and loaded by the designer?
