We need a Tribal Government Seal. The circular seal surrounding the artwork shall read "The Great Seal of Wilton Rancheria". We are a California Miwok Indian Tribe. A miwok artist created a black and white drawing for us that I would like to see as a seal with color, it is attached. The following is a list of Potential Elements that we would like to see in a Great Seal the represents us: Log Roundhouse, Barkhouse lodge, tule house/shelter, River, Oak Tree, Flickerband, Acorn, Miwok Basket Design, Deer/Elk, Antlers, Eagle Feathers, Salmon/trout, Eagle, Flicker Bird, Bear or Miwok Dancers. Please reference the California Indian Seal. Also there are several ways to spell Miwok/Me-wuk/Mi-wuk, so don't bother incorporating it into the seal.
My favorite sketch is the one with the roundhouse on top with and acorn shape outline with the deer, oak tree, river and sun setting in the background with the basket design around the inner edges.
I've added our current logo which was a t-shirt design. Its the one that says Wilton vertically.
