Gorilla Technologies got their new app design by running a design contest:
Stickers App needs fun, friendly & clean UI & UX - looking for long-term relationship.

Entertainment & The Arts
The app allows users to discover awesome stickers for WhatsApp, as well as create and share their own.
First and foremost: You're the expert. We want you to have as much freedom as possible. If you feel constrained by the design guidelines we think our app should follow, we urge you to challenge our assumptions. This being said, to give you a general notion of what we have in mind, we'd like the app UI to be: - funny - colorful - bright - friendly - clean - familiar and very easy to use The style should go along well with the stickers provided by the app. Attached you will find some screenshot of the app (still under development) in which you'll be able to better understand the style of the stickers. One more word in terms of UX: UX is as important as UI. The app flows should be painfully simple and require as little effort as possible. Users could be 13 years old as well as 60+ years old.
TBD (Probably Stickers° or Stickers for WhatsApp)
The app has two core features: 1. Discover stickers packs published in the main page, every pack has a detail page that shows all the stickers and that allows the user to export the pack to WhatsApp, iMessage or download the pack to the photo library. 2. Create custom sticker packs (from pictures or by selecting specific stickers from different packs already published). Users can then decide to keep the pack private or publish it sharing it with their friends. REQUIREMENTS: Remember: UI & UX are on a par. We need 2 screens that encompass most of the app's functionality. Once these are done and a winner has been chosen, the rest of the app will be completed 1:1. We are also looking for a long-term relationship with a freelancer (YOU!) that continues to work on the mobile app (and on the website + App Store screenshots) :) Screen #1: Home Screen / Stickers In the main screen, users should be able to discover the best/most popular stickers. There should be a section for featured packs, a section with multiple featured/suggested/new (flexible) categories and all the other packs. There could be up to 200 packs, so it would be ideal to showcase a lot of packs in the home page (maybe grouped by category) Screen #2: Pack detail Screen/Edit In this screen, users should be able to see all the stickers inside the selected pack, as well as the pack cover (could be a custom image or the first stickers with a background color). This is the screen from where users can export the pack to WhatsApp (the main feature of the app), save it to iMessage, or save to the photo library. There should also be other CTAs: - Mark as favorite - Report the pack as inappropriate - Share the pack with friends (a link will be generated and shared using the system share sheet) In the case of a pack created by the current user, he/she should be able to manage the pack and its content from this screen (add/remove stickers, edit the title, the author name, publish/unpublish, delete) Here are some user stories to better understand how the app should work: - As a user, when I one the app I find awesome stickers and want to immediately add them to WhatsApp/iMessage and share them with my friends - As a user, I want to easily create a pack and share it with my friends or use it myself - As a user, I want to pick the best stickers from different packs and use them to create a new pack (please ignore this for now)

Amazing guy. Works hard, delivers faster than expected and very easy to work with. This is the kinda person you go through 30 people until you find one.
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
