How admin123 started their app design journey
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Cosmetics & Beauty
The app provides its users access to a database of matching foundation colors. Simply enter at least one foundation shades that you use and are happy with, and we will show you your perfect shade in any other brand.
The UI designer is expected to develop appropriate UI and layouts for each screen.
What do you have in mind for the style and theme of the app?
The design and color scheme must reflect the look and feel of an upscale cosmetics or fashion brand.
This app is all about base (Foundation) products. The colors scheme may be inspired by the range of human skin tones. In other words, different shades of tan may be a good fit for this app. [note: this is just an idea, not a requirement]
There are two versions of the first screen.
1. Initial screen if user hasn't added a swatch.
2. If user has already added a known match, then they
2.1. Automatically get their recommended matches.
2.2. User can slide image to the left to view another image of their recommended match
2.3. User can slide up to read the full description (perhaps an overlay, or a new screen).
2.4. There will also be a “buy” button that will redirect user to a page/section to purchase the product (via amazon).
2.5. User can slide the matches left and right to view more recommended matches.
I. In the example image (see attached brief), replace Tutorial with Shop. There’s should be an additional smaller icon to open tutorial page.
II. For larger image preview (annotation no.3 below) try to use slides transition similar to Applause app home screen (but horizontally).
III. May Place social sharing options (open on demand i.e by swiping right/left) on Screen 1 (no. 3)
