How Jasonreinen started their logo & hosted website journey
Who are you known as?
Scoop Pet Waste Services
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Pet waste (only dogs at this time) clean-up service. Mainly, we go to the clients property regularly to pick up dog poop. In Washington State, North of Seattle.
Target Audience: anyone lacking time, will, or ability to pick up after their dog. Pet lovers, double income households, families with dogs and children. Clients that can afford a small luxury expense.
This is also a green/environmental service, due to the large amount of dogs and runoff into rivers in the region.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Animal & Pet
What colors do you want to see in your design?
Other color requirements
I'd like to explore the following colors:
Greens: Growth, harmony and success.
Dark neutrals: Formality, mystery, exclusivity and luxury.
Light neutrals: Purity, balance and sophistication.
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
-I'd like to include a Labrador. Pictures included are of my dog, Roguely. He's nearly 11 and I'd love to immortalize the likes of him in my business logo. Labradors are some of the most broadly loved dogs, their expression is often happy and confident. I'm NOT big on cartoonish dogs. Thinking more of a beer logo style dog. I want to convey clean, professional, confident, cool, but upbeat and happy.
I really like the simple hard shadow black-and-white style of the dog in the Brindle Dog Beer logos.
-I'm picturing the top half of a sitting lab, at a head-on angle, with the name underneath. That being said I'm open and really looking forward to all of YOUR creative ideas.
-I'd like emphasis on the word SCOOP. The rest of the name can be incorporated smaller. My hope is people will take to just calling it "Scoop" or 'Scoop Services". The rest of the name is to define and specify the service.
-Could incorporate a spade (handle tool) in...just an idea.
-I'll be putting the logo on a black or white truck. It would be nice if it worked with either background color. Hope that makes sense.
What do you have in mind for the style and theme of the logo and hosted website?
- I would like it to be clean and easy to use. I've noticed other pet waste company's websites seem cluttered with excessive text and unorganized. I wan't to be simple and easy to navigate.
- Perhaps emphasize fresh, clean grass you could roll around in, the outdoors, and pets and family enjoying it. Think green.
