(Page 4) Treatments:
Dermaplaning – a simple exfoliating procedure that removes the outer layer of dead skin cells and also rids the skin of fine vellus hair (peach fuzz). This treatment includes an application of a powerful cocktail of nutrients followed by a hydrating mask. It will leave your skin feeling extra smooth and supple. *This is a great treatment for pregnant or nursing patients who want a deep exfoliation.
Clarifying Peel – a blend of lactic, glycolic, and salicylic acids work together to unclog pores and exfoliate the skin. This treatment promotes a purified and clear complexion while correcting discolorations caused by acne scarring. It will also improve surface texture and brighten the skin while reducing redness and inflammation associated with breakouts. $125
Rejuvenation Peel – specially formulated to treat dehydrated, maturing skin, but also appropriate for many other skin types, conditions and sensitivities. It will help treat pigment disorders, fine lines and wrinkles, and sun damaged skin. Overall, the final result will be plump, hydrated, and luminous skin. $125
Sensitive Skin Peel – a gentle solution that is formulated primarily for sensitive skin types. It will strengthen and brighten the skin while helping to correct sun damage and other forms of hyperpigmentation. This multi-faceted treatment also provides anti-inflammatory, anti-blemish and antibacterial action, making it an excellent choice for helping calm rosacea, as redness and inflammation can subside substantially after treatment. $125
Oxygenating Facial – an antioxidant therapy that corrects and prevents free radical damage. This three-step oxygenating treatment helps stimulate circulation, rejuvenating sluggish, stressed skin resulting in healthy, radiant skin. $125

How do I know which chemical peel treatment is right for me?
Casey is a skin care professional who has been trained on each of the PCA Professional™ Products. This training will allow Casey to not only choose a treatment designed for your skin type, but customize a treatment, addressing your personal skin care needs.
How much discomfort should be expected when having a peel?
The level of discomfort experienced depends on the treatment. Most PCA Professional™ chemical peels are gentle and create little or no burning or stinging sensation in the skin. Dramatic wrinkling, sun damage or acne scars may require a deeper peel, which may cause moderate stinging for a few minutes. More dramatic results can be expected from a deeper peel, however deep peels are not necessary for most skin types and conditions. PCA’s philosophy of taking a low-dose approach means our superficial chemical peels create minimal discomfort and produce beautiful and immediate results for most patients.
How long does it take?
Your first appointment will take about 45 minutes and subsequent appointments will last about 30 minutes.
I didn’t peel, did the treatment work?
PCA SKIN® peels deliver excellent results whether or not visible peeling occurs. Exfoliation is at a cellular level and not apparent to the naked eye. PCA SKIN professional treatments create a tighter, firmer complexion and appearance. They are formulated to preserve, promote and protect healthy skin, regardless of whether the patient sees visible exfoliation following treatment. For more information click here.
Should people who are frequently in the sun receive peels?
Yes, but only if they are compliant with using sunscreen protection every day. Sunbathing should be avoided directly following a treatment and while the skin is peeling. If you are getting peels to lighten the skin, it is imperative to use the appropriate sunscreen and avoid unnecessary sun exposure to reduce any chance of further hyperpigmentation.
Which peels may be used on someone who exercises frequently?
Someone who is active may have any peel, but all peel patients must wait 48 hours after a treatment to exercise. If this is not an option, the Non-Burning Facial Peel or Intensive Vitamin C Treatment are alternate choices. These treatments include the Oxygenating Trio and Detox Treatment, and use the Ultra Peel® II Exfoliating Treatment which is an acid-free retinol cream. Its delayed flaking action will not cause irritation or downtime, and leaves the skin glowing and hydrated.
