Athlete Next Door
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Athlete Next Door is being created to develop and distribute compelling content around high performing professional athletes who often get overlooked. Our objective is to build an audience of sports fans who are NOT interested in the traditional click-bait drama stories that usually follow the biggest stars and give them compelling human-interest stories from accomplished NFL, MLB, NHL, USWNT, etc. athletes who don’t usually get the headlines. Like NBC does for Olympic athletes every four years, Athlete Next Door wants to introduce sports fans to other players to root for, even if they aren’t All-Pros or MVP superstars. What makes us unique is our focus on the athlete who goes unnoticed that he could live "next door." There are plenty of other media outlets covering the big time athletes (LeBron James, Tom Brady, etc.), but we want to focus on the stories from the other guys who are contributing on the field, court, ice. 1) Try using the following fonts: Flint/Flintstock & Vintage Sport Serif
2) Prefer equal or additional emphasis on "Next Door" relative to "Athlete"
3) Don't add literal "door" into the logo
