Animal & Pet
Raise the Woof Dog Training is a new dog training company in New York, NY. Note:A dog trainer in New York generally operates as a therapist- not as a dog walker- they are very different professions at very different price points. An average New York dog trainer charges $125 an hour. Clientele: -ranges from upper middle class, to very very upper class New York elite -may be a single person who works in an office in finance or law, loves their dog as their child, and wants to provide the best home possible for them -may be gay couples who opt for a dog instead of children -may be a very wealthy family who want someone else to deal with housetraining their new puppy, and just want a perfectly well-behaved family member -or it's a person who has adopted a dog from the shelter to do the right thing, and has to deal with behavioral problems such as separation anxiety or housetraining issues -The dog is a member of the family, sleeps in their bed, and is fed organic food or home cooked food I want my logo to be: -relate-able, not snooty -fun without being cartoony -friendly -simple -professional The name, Raise the Woof, is very contemporary and ironic with a pun on "Raise the Roof." The logo should focus on raising a dog from puppy to adult, or having a dog under a roof. It should not have a street feel a la rap, hip-hop, or "urban" markets. Although the sample logos below don't really show it, it would be great if the logo could incorporate an image within the text as opposed to on top of or to the left of it. I'd be open to an image of a dog, but if so I want a friendly dog similar to the image attached, not a mastiff, pug, doberman, etc. I've also attached a business card template below that is being used as an interim in order to get a feel for the style that appeals to me. I find the card to be playful, professional, and simple.
Logo types to explore
If using a dog image, I'd like it to be simple. Not complex. But not cartoony. More like a line drawing. And please use a dog similar to the one below.
