Like the bold lines
Simple colour palette and bold character. Like that logo can be used individually, separate from text
Love the use of negative space and understated aesthetic. Simple, yet effective.
Solid shapes and clear text with intricate detailing to help identify the company logo/animal
Like the character design and minimalism
Slightly too formal but like the simplicity and creativity used to create a crown from the paint
Striking, simple, clean, bold lines from a black/grey colour palette (although open to ideas) Initial thoughts were to use a 'King's head' taken from a basic playing card design but modified to look more contemporary. Logo is intended to be used in conjunction with text reading 'King of Cards' but needs to be designed so that it can also be used separately where required.
Love intricate, yet understated playing card artwork and custom court cards which have led us to these initial ideas, but we're more than happy to explore different concepts. Inspiration can be taken from leading playing card manufacturers deck designs/court cards.
The original intention was to create a brand name that had a link to the names of cards within a deck (King of Hearts, King of Clubs, King of... etc.) In some ways, King of Cards can be interpreted as a play on words - if the 4 suits of a deck were somehow concealed within the logo design, it might be a neat detail and an Easter egg for keen eyed visitors to the site.
