We are a small company based in Hawaii that creates our own line of pickleball paddles, However we do not want a pickleball paddle in the design itself as we have plans to be a sports shop in the future that will carry a variety of sports equipment. So having a design that reflects an active lifestyle is important. "Piko" in Hawaiian means center/core or naval area. We believe everything you do not only in sports but in life needs to have a good center or core in order to be successful. We would like our logo to incorporate these values. We want something sleek, modern that should include the name piko sports in a text that matches the logo and is sleek and modern. We will direct the designers as they turn in designs as to what we like or dislike about each design and try to direct you in the right way. For the Logo part itself we would prefer the letter "P" in the middle of the design you come up with to represent being the center of the design which stands for "piko". Don't need to get really complicated but we don't want something thats simplistic and is overused by other logos. Something sleek, modern and appeals to 25 - 40 year old crowd. Preferably a logo with white, black, blue and or grey that blends together well would be nice. Don't have to be all 4 of those colors but any combination of those colors that blends together would be a plus but feel free to use other colors if it works well. Just don't use more then 3 colors max as we really don't want a colorful logo. Keep it simple. Keep it sleek. Make the logo and the font come together in a perfect marriage.

nice sleek and simple design and the logo itself can be used without the text and still identify the brand
This is our current logo. However it is very similar to a lot of other logos with bigger companies. If you could put a twist on this it would be interesting to see taking the information from the briefing into account.
We are a Hawaii based company that's proud of our heritage and hospitality. If you could somehow incorporate that into the logo that would be awesome.
