Velash is a very creative designer who takes and uses suggestions well. His turn around time and attention was excellent. We are pleased and eager to get our branding out there!
Iina, you have been great. Highly recommendable.
I will also be letting 99designs know of this as well...

We are a non-profit organization based in Nairobi, Kenya that creates an affordable alternative to education using low-cost computer networks and video learning. Though our target consumer is low-income Kenyan teenagers, our target audience (with our logo, website, etc.) is donors and partner organizations.

'Tunapanda' is a Swahili word that means 'we are growing' or 'we are planting.' Our goal is to create a learning environment based on collaboration, open source technology and sharing of information so that a community 'grows' naturally and 'climbs' to its full potential. Since we are tech-based we would like our logo to represent both the concepts of organic growth and networked/technological learning. The combination of technology/nature are the reasons why I chose the 'liked' logos in this brief.
Because we are working mainly in East Africa we originally chose the acacia tree as the basis for our logo. (An idea we had was maybe a tree in the shape of the letter 'T') We are a bit partial to the acacia and would like to keep it if possible but of course are open to other options.
Neither of the founding members has any sort of design experience so we will wholeheartedly be open to suggestions from more creative individuals.
