NICKART came up with a very creative design from my somewhat scattered brief. After that he continued to work with me to refine it based on my requests. In the end I realized that his initial concept was really the best. He was very responsive and prompt with adjustments.
The designer followed our instructions to a "t" and gave us exactly what we requested. Thanks for the great design work!
It was great experience to work with Juliadie! Logo is incredibly fascinating and absolutely impressive. Thank you so much Juliadie for your amazing work :)

We bought a boat! We named it "Liberty" because of how it makes us feel. When we get out on the water we feel liberated from all the pressures and stress of daily life. We feel exhilaration with the wind blowing in our faces and no borders to constrain us. When the seas are calm and the sun is setting we feel like such a natural part of the world. We need a simple logo on the bow of the boat that represents the simple pleasures of sailing.

There are US Coast Guard rules requiring that the name of the boat be prominently displayed on the bow or stern and the letters must be at least 4 inches tall. We are also constrained by a "rub rail" which runs the length of the boat just below the deck line, and a "hard line" or permanent ridge also running the length of the boat above the water line. I will include some pictures and basic mock up to better illustrate the placement of the logo and the area in which we have to work. The block letters in the mock up are for visual placement purposes only, please don't think that's the preferred style. Also, We chose the colors Blue and Gold because they are the colors of the Naval Academy in Annapolis Maryland where our home port is. Preferably I'd like the letters to be Blue as the boat provides a white background with Gold as a highlight or accent if it makes sense.
