German School got their new logo design by running a design contest:
New logo wanted for German Language School Westwood
Check out German School's Logo design contest…
The German Language School Westwood is a non-profit organization, dedicated to providing the highest quality of language instruction and cross-cultural experience for both children and adults. Language classes are offered on Thursday evening and on Saturdays.
Logo types to explore
We would like to use the colors of the German flag in the logo design (black, red, gold), combined with a symbol that stands for education. We also like the idea of combining the name of the school (German Language School Westwood) with the acronyms (GLSW). Since we are an educational institution for children and adults the logo should appeal to both groups equally

99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected a winner!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
