Ian’s got a great design sense and got the logo almost dead on the first submission. Throughout the contest he has been very quick to feedback and extremely thorough.

We are looking for a logo and mascot combination that can be used either together or separately. The FanSided Yeti sample was a design attempt we didn't use because we didn't quite like it enough, but it is a good start. That yeti probably is too goofy, not sporty, edgy or masculine enough, and possibly too cartoonish and complex. We also aren't going to do one for every sport -- just a general yeti. Look at the simplicity of the Reddit text and alien. Now, we want something a little more bold and masculine than that, but we also appreciate the simplicity.
Attached are our current logo (the one with the finger) and another attempt at a blimp and text that we didn't use, although we do kinda like that text a bit.
