***Update #1- I appreciate all of the submissions, but everything is a bit too soft. I'd like for it to be more aggressive looking, but not over the top. Thank you!
Lacuna Training Group needs a logo to represent our brand for our website, printed material, etc.
Lacuna Training Group was formed to deliver online training for law enforcement as an additional method of distributing content to officers that may not be able to attend up to date training. We focus on engagements in and around vehicles, but will also offer topics such as first aid (TCCC), legal updates, various firearms topics, domestic violence, etc.
The word "Lacuna" is defined as an unfilled space or interval; a gap. It is also defined as a missing portion in a book or manuscript. Our goal is to "fill the gaps" for the road officer and the most up to date training available.
Our company colors are black, royal/dark blue, and grey. Our website will most likely have a pure white background, but it might end up being black, please keep that in mind as we will need to invert colors in order to work on either a white background, or a black/dark background.
We are looking for a logo that is sleek, simple, and strong. We require something that will stand out and be recognizable with or without the help of a text name below it. Nothing cliche will be accepted. No badges, crossed guns, skulls, punisher logos, etc. We need something that will speak to our target customer (Male, 25-40yo), but also be non-offensive to executive leadership.
We'd like to see something with a visible gap, and then something connecting that gap, if that makes sense. We also need to have a type face/ font that include either the words "Lacuna" or "Lacuna Training Group" above or below the logo. Being able to use the logo as a stand alone icon is a must, so the text needs to work with, and without the logo. It might also be interesting to see an option that just includes the letters "LTG" as an option.
I do not want to depend on textures or vignettes on any logo submissions as this logo willed heavily on text documents for watermarks, etc. We will not be able to use textures in those instances, so if you would like to submit something that has a texture for a "lead style" option for the logo, please also include a non-textured version.
