Pavey, Law & Witteveen LLP is a diversified law firm. The lawyers in the firm practice in specialty practice areas. Working together, the lawyers are capable of meeting the needs of individuals, businesses, organizations and government entities, both large and small. Although they provide various legal services to the general public (wills, real estate. etc), their ideal target audience is a private business owner who requires both business and personal litigation.
Currently the name is the partners "Pavey, Law & Witteveen" (yes, Law is a partner), but will eventually evolve to "Pavey Law LLP" therefore we want to emphasize "Pavey Law" in the logo, and then have Pavey,Law & Witteveen LLP either near the logo, or as part of the logo, but a part that can be removed without causing big upset. We would also like “Lawyers” incorporated somewhere for the next little while at least. If you think you can make that all work.
They are looking for a wordmark / logo integrated with the logo being to the left of the wordmark. The logo should flow to into or towards the wordmark but both images should be able to stand on their own. They prefer the logo to be a clean and simple presentation and should be able to read well on promotional applications especially when it is in of crowd of other logos - ie. sponsored events banner.. The letters "PL" could be the logo, but not necessary. We prefer the logo a horizontal format.
Current colours are blue (close to Pantone 534) but are open to almost any colour scheme looking colours that are less conservative. With that in mind they don't want too bold or fresh either.
For a visual reference, we have included a PDF of logos are logos they prefer. The first vertical row is preferred logos. Also is a an example layout of the how we would like the logo to read and the balance / flow.
I am seeing a lot of the same colour schemes so far. Don't be afraid to explore some new colour options.
