Excellent work, quick turn around, everything that I expected and a little bit more.
Katriin is a vary talented designer and very easy to work with. I highly recommend her!
Nice conversation, fast reaction, we are happy with the result.
How samRw started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
(PLEASE NO MORE DESIGNS BASED ON MOUNTAINS..it feels like nobody reads this haha)
We are an outdoor gear company. Our first product is a cooler, but we hope to expand beyond that with time so something with an animal or anything really (100% leaving the creative part to you creatives), and it should be able to work across different product lines. Target audience is active outdoorsy people, both urban and rural.
I want to be able to stamp a symbol to the bottom of the coolers too, so there will need to be an element that can stand alone.
Realistic starting audience is educated outdoorsy folks 18-40 with disposable income. Please feel free to be creative! Y'all are the experts :).
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What colors do you want to see in your design?
Other color requirements
This will ultimately need to be stitched onto soft goods and even clothing, so most likely we won't be able to do designs that have really complex color gradients throughout. So far I'm kinda getting nothing but blues, would love to see some more variety :).
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
i think this one is a bit too serious for us but I still like the general idea of it
Instantly recognizable and simple..not too many colors, etc..
I don't like the hand at all but the cream background and font are cool.
I like how fun this one is.. but if I went with the goofy route the character would have to be a little more intelligent looking than this one haha
Found this online. Having mountains in your logo as an outdoor gear company is kinda cliche, but this one is still cool.
love rumpl's branding!
arc'teryx might be a little too serious..but i do dig their branding
Mountains are pretty overplayed in the industry, so I would probably rather have something unique like an animal, river, or trees, etc.... just trusting y'all to be creative :). I admire companies like patagonia, rumpl blankets, and yeti and am hoping to be amongst them someday.
-playful. something that you look at and associate with a good time, since our first product is a cooler.
-a simple enough logo that a college kid could doodle in class
-also, all of our products are "soft goods". so the logo should feel soft and cozy, yet fit for the outdoors. Like the emotions you have when you think about a sleeping bag.
