RS did a great job, very helpful, creative, quick responses to make changes. Highly recommended!
I felt Ubai™ did a really great job creating a slick Logo for my company. He responded super fast to my corrections and requests and overall was a pleasant experience to work with. I'm very happy with the outcome.
Excellent as always
Great work, great communication!
The designer was very helpful also after winning the competition.
It was better than we originally imagined. When we gave notes, it only came back better. Very happy with the result!
How Midlift Crisis started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
I am a writer/journalist (The New York Times, Men’s Health, The Huffington Post, and elsewhere) and an avid amateur powerlifter. The MIDLIFT CRISIS website (midliftcrisis.com) will feature original articles on strength training, powerlifting, and weightlifting, and interviews with world-class strength athletes, coaches, and psychologists exploring what it takes to develop strength in all senses of the word. The target audience will be both men and women of all ages, although primarily 18-50, I imagine.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What colors do you want to see in your design?
Other color requirements
I'd like to explore the following colors:
Blues: Knowledge, trust, calm and honesty.
Yellows: Energy, intellect, fun and youth.
Let designers make suggestions:
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
I want the logo’s image to be of someone in the middle of a heavy deadlift, with the bar just below or at the knees. Conventional-style deadlift (examples here (http://bit.ly/21zD1sF), here (http://bit.ly/1RTUA1o), and here (http://bit.ly/259tlJR)), *not* sumo (wide stance) style (example here (http://bit.ly/250LXf1)). I’m open to either a straight-on perspective of the lifter or an angled one. The bar should have a bend in it from the heavy weight. I’m open to either visible facial and bodily features or none at all (i.e., a figure only in outline -- something akin to, but distinct from, this (http://bit.ly/259tEEv) or this (http://bit.ly/1SYVlew)). Probably vivid colors, maybe yellow and blue (think the Swedish flag), but definitely open to other color-scheme ideas. I tend to like strong, simple, clear logos like this (http://bit.ly/1S8Fxn5). The logo should comprise both the deadlifting image described above and text (Midlift Crisis). I’d like the logo to be playful and a bit humorous, so I hope you’ll have fun with this project and that your joy will infuse the texture of the work itself :) Really looking forward to seeing what you come up with!
