Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are a 501c3 non-profit organization that focuses on supplying educational resources and enrichment programs to under-served elementary students in our local area. Our underlying goal is to provide love, support and healthy outlets for children to grow and progress in a positive manner.
We work with kids, but need the logo to be easily recognizable and easily understood for adults and donors.

Logo types to explore
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
Our current logo was done quickly and has hands wrapped around the bottom of a heart and a world in the middle (it is attached at the bottom). I do actually like this framework, but am not attached to it.
One idea that our team discussed is to keep the hands framing the "idea" of the logo. Then in the middle, instead of the globe, maybe having children (maybe different colors/ethnicities) growing/playing/learning - something to that idea. And then starting from the tops of the fingertips, maybe the top half of the heart over the children. We thought the idea cultivates the notion that with support (hands underneath) and love (heart above) the children will flourish and grow.
I would like the logo to be playful but remain professional and transferable to banners, t-shirts, etc. We work with kids, but need the logo to be easily recognizable and easily understood for adults.
