puka designs is the best thing to happen to our branding. She is quick and accurate. She knows our mascots since she created them. So this time, her design was perfect the first time through. We have one less thing to worry about with her as our designer. We are so glad we chose her back when we started to develop our branding! We get so many compliments on her artwork.
- Art and Pixels
Thank-you Art and Pixels for working with me. I got my money's worth and chose the right designer for the job! Easier to work with than other designers I have in the past who needed more direction for the purpose of nailing the pet/dog-related branding visual, and her lines are excellent! What I was hoping for through working one on one with a designer. Will be hiring Art and Pixels in the future to continue my project/otherwise. Thanks again. :)

Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Tenacious Acres, LLC is a small business with a big goal: to raise as much money for animal shelters and rescues across America as we can by donating a portion of the proceeds from our business. We have a heart for the underdog, so feel free to incorporate this somewhere into our logo in some way if you like. A heart and/or paw prints anywhere in the logo would be great but not mandatory; we are open to suggestion.
We hand-pour Rescue Tins- super scented candles with a special odor eliminating additive. We have developed our exclusive line of scents especially for pet owners, and they will be marketed as a pet odor eliminating candle.
We pride ourselves on being environmentally responsible. We use only 100% natural, sustainable soy wax and exclusively green small batch production processes, and pour our candles into tins that can be recycled or re-purposed when empty. Our shop is nestled in the heart of soybean growing country, and because of this, we like the look and feel of a natural brown kraft paper label. Our logo will need to look good against this background.
Because our target market is pet owners/lovers, we would like both a dog and cat to be included in our logo. More of an animated look is preferred over a realistic looking dog and cat. Our dog mascot is a Dalmatian named Tinacious B, or T-Bone for short. His sidekick is a black cat named Soot. We are looking forward to having you bring T-Bone and Soot into creation through your artwork.

Once our logo design is chosen, we will immediately commission our designer to create scent-specific labels for the side of the tins. Each scent will have its own unique side label with the name of the scent, and featuring T-Bone and Soot illustrating that scent by their outfit, accessories, or their activity. We have 6 different scents at present and so will need 6 design labels. It is strongly preferred that we choose a designer who will be available to design additional scent labels for any new scents developed in the future, to have continuity in our branding.
