How loriraquel started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
'Palos Verdes Girls Softball' OR 'PV Girls Softball'
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are a non-profit youth girls softball league based out of Palos Verdes, California.
Our community is known for amazing coastal views and scenic nature (google Palos Verdes Peninsula). Youth sports is HUGE here.
Target audience are girls are ages 6 thru 14, and their families.
Logo should strongly convey its a softball for girls logo. Can read either PV or Palos Verdes.
Would love to have use of scenic elements (ie; coast lines) incorporated as we are on the peninsula. But not a must.
Looking for a design that will embroider well on hats or apparel.
We are developing girls to be competitive with strong mindsets while having fun.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What colors do you want to see in your design?
Other color requirements
A touch of OPTIC YELLOW and / or OPTIC GREEN would be nice.
(it's our current league color so we want to keep it represented but do not need it to be the dominant color - see the photo of our current logo
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
Not too masculine. I like the 'boom' on the bat. We are a Fastball League, teaching our girls to pitch FAST!
I like the waterline of the coast mimicking where we live.
I like the vintage vibe. I also like how they incorporated the water in the logo (its a beach community)
This is our current logo that we feel is outdated but this is the OPTIC GREEN and OPTIC YELLOW we use.
My daughter drew this. I thought is was a cute concept. Needs some additions but I like the concept.
We like the concept of a logo that incorporates the fluidity of the coastal water lines, but it not a must either.
We feel like the criss crossed bat thing is overdone so unless yours really stands out, we don't need to see it.
We are leaning towards a color combo idea of blues, greens, white, and some optic yellow
