The F&I Department is the leading gross generating department in the dealership. F&I produces gross in two ways:
1. “Reserve” Income from indirect lenders. The dealership arranges the financing for a customer with a specific lender. In return the lender pays the dealership a percent of the loan amount.
2. Selling “Aftermarket F&I Products”. F&I Managers offer warranties, roadside assistance, GAP, etc. They markup the products to generate gross profit.
Aside from the Dealer, there are two other businesses involved. One is the product provider or insurance company. The other business is the agency.
The agency works as liaison between the insurance company and the dealership. In exchange for training and service, they earn a commission on the product.
Relentless Dealer Services is an Agency as described above. Our focus is RV dealerships, but we may work with Automotive and Powersports dealerships as well.
In addition to these services, we will eventually offer training and support for Sales and eCommerce Sales. We can discuss further as we get into the website development stage.
