How Factrition started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
What’s your company slogan?
simple facts about nutrition
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are a not for profit organisation that are dedicated to providing educational and simple facts about nutrition in the form of simple to understand infographics. Our aim is to educate people about all things to do with nutrition and understand the impacts that their choices have. We want to empower people to be able to make informed choices about their nutrition.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What colors do you want to see in your design?
Other color requirements
I'd like to explore the following colors:
Pinks: Intimacy, love, calm and nurture.
Greens: Growth, harmony and success.
Let designers make suggestions:
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
We would like a fresh, simple and fun logo that is in line with the organisation. We are about 2 things;
1- facts and information that are real and can be backed up by scientific evidence
2- nutrition, from how we source our food and the impact that has on the environment, through to how we process things within our bodies and also the ethical impacts of what we eat
We would like to explore pink and green colours and we have already had some possible fonts to use (as you will see in the example files) Averia Libre as the main font and Cambay as the secondary font, both available on Google Fonts.
Our thoughts are that we would like to have a logo which incorporates a distinctive symbol to represent the organisation as well as combining a distinctive wording for the organisations name.
We like the idea of incorporating a leaf into the lower 'prong' of the 'F' in the symbol and we also like the idea of a rubber stamp like look. We feel that incorporating these elements is in line with our 2 main areas of 'facts' (with the stamp) and 'nutrition' with the leaf.
Please note that there will be further work once the logo is completed including a wordpress theme adjustment, infographic template design and icons.
