A very nice design, by a very responsive designer!
Gave us a great design and worked with us patiently on minor revisions and provided quick turnaround. Excellent communication. I highly recommend.

Journey Prep is a private school. It's tagline, which we don't want in the logo is: One School. Many Paths. A private prep school for college. A school for dyslexia and other reading and social disabilities (but we do't want it blatantly pointed out in the logo) and for international students that want a private setting. Small classes (15). Unmatched attention given to student's education and needs. The school's approach is best described as Universal: An educational framework based on research in the learning sciences, including cognitive neuroscience, that guides the development of flexible learning environments that can accommodate individual learning differences.

Clean, smart logo. Something that will read well small or large. In color of B&W. Not cutesie or childlike, even though its K-12, their sweet spot is middle school and up. I'll attach logos of three of their competitors. I'm not in love with any of them, but it will give you a framework. Journey, paths, and universal are the concepts you should focus your creativity around.
