DPI Security is the rebranded name of a 46-year-old security company with three locations in Oregon. Our customers are government agencies and commercial businesses, to whom we provide professional security officers at sites like courthouses, office buildings, retirement homes, hospitals, shipyards and more. We are soon going to be offering complementary security services, such as security camera installation and monitoring.
We have a wide variety of audiences. One is our clients, who tend to be professional people who work in management. We also want to appeal to individuals who would like to work for us as security officers. And this logo will be frequently seen by the general public (since it will be on officers’ uniforms, cars used by the security officers, etc.).
We want the logo to portray a sense of security, safety, authority and professionalism, and this logo should be more on the masculine side. We don't want a logo that has a security guard on it, or elements like swords, eagles, animals, etc. We are open to some representation of a shield. We will likely go with something that is more abstract than literal, and may have text as the main element.
