laffy10316 needed a new logo design and created a contest on 99designs.
A winner was selected from 48 designs submitted by 16 freelance designers.
The contest will run for 4 days.
The winner will receive $150.00 for their logo. Feedback will be left for all submissions. I use site point regularly, so I will leave feedback and you will get paid if your design is picked. I usually compete in un-coded web template contests, but logo design is not my cup of tea.

We are looking for a logo that is creative and unique. We are open to any colors that mix well.Â
The client prefers confidentiality on their website plans, so I have included an image below. With this, you should have an idea of what we are looking for. Please feel free to submit variations of this layout so we have options.Â

They client mentioned that a coin was very important to the creative of this logo. Be sure that you use a coin in the layout, preferably the way the mock above is layed out.
The image of the person on the logo should represent someone doing the “Heisman stance†with one arm extended.  The other arm should be up to the mouth area like the image is telling some "shhhh" - as if there were a secret. Just Google some images with the keyword "Heisman" for an idea of the stance seen on trophies etc. But make sure the person is leaning to the left and not to the right. Please do not copy the Heisman trophy image.
Please make the person doing the heisman an average joe also istead of just a football player
The logo needs to be very high quality being that the client may want to use it on billboards or print material. We would prefer Vector based but will accept other file formats as long as it is high quality such as PNG, TIF, EPS, PSD etc... We would also want the original logo file included from the winning design.
We reserve the right to not choose a winner if a suitable design is not submitted. I do not see this being a problem being that they are so many talented designers here on sitepoint.
Thanks
