Animal & Pet
We take dogs out for bike rides in Washington DC. (We bike, the dogs run alongside, on leash.) Most of these are big dogs, living in small apartment buildings, and have little chance to really run hard. Target audience is working singles and couples, making good money, who feel bad that their dogs aren't getting the exercise they should.
Logo types to explore
Simple, minimalist. Maybe just a wheel and a dog. Maybe just a part of the dog? Could imagine some "Washington DC" element -- Washington Monument or US Capitol building dome, for example. Want the dog to be running full speed -- her body should be stretched out, horizontal to the ground. I'd love the see her front legs extended fully out front -- a hard gallop. I'm imagining a silhouette -- one color, no gradients, nothing fancy. Not particularly drawn to playful -- this is an expensive service, $30 versus $20 for typical dog walking. It's for folks who are serious about their dog's fitness. While I want to convey the dog's running hard, I need to be careful about suggesting we're going high speed on DC's busy streets and sidewalks. We bike up to three dogs at a time. Would consider a logo with two dogs, although I've imagined a single dog in my head.

Amazing designer! I organised Gold Competition and she was the ONLY designer that stood out after approx. 150 entries! Head and shoulders above the rest. Always does what she says she will. Couldn't be happier. Can't sing her praises enough!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
