How Flakeoutdoor started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Flake Outdoor Co. is creating modern fitting apparel and accessories for rock climbers and mountaineers/adventurers, both on the Rock and in play (cocktails, business causal, around the campfire)
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What colors do you want to see in your design?
Other color requirements
I'd like to explore the following colors:
Oranges: Creativity, adventure and happiness.
Dark neutrals: Formality, mystery, exclusivity and luxury.
Let designers make suggestions:

I think the logo should just say "flake" not "outdoor" also. We want a logo that works with the name and also an artistic piece within that can work independently - think stitched on pants or a ball cap. Attached are 2 that were mocked up for us, but we're not in love. "Flake" is a term used in climbing to describe both a specific type of rock formation and an act of organizing your rope. No snowflakes, that would miss the point. Can be more abstract design.
