It was great working with Daredjo. He captured visually what I had put in words and came up with a unique twist that was different from the other designers. I would recommend and use in the future!

I was looking for a mix of vintage and modern for a custom invitation business that would be clean and look good across multiple platforms and media types. He designed a bold and modern logo that was very clean and also made it creative and very custom looking. Always responded within a few hours and provided what I needed. Strong design aesthetic and professional work ethic.

Wake Garage will be sort of a "hot rod garage for wake surf boats" - a new community based website for boat owners to modify and upgrade their wakeboard/wake surf boats. It will primarily feature DIY projects, tutorials and discussion so that boat owners can upgrade their current boats, without having to spend a shit-ton of money on a new boat. Whereas a hot rod shop makes old cars go fast, Wake Garage shows how to make all boats produce a bigger surf wave, as well as have a better sound system, more power, and other upgrades -- just like the new expensive boats or even better.
My audience is wakeboard boat owners (1990s to 2010s) who are into wake sports, such as as wake surfing. The older boats aren't outfitted to throw a giant surf wave, but the new boats that are cost a fortune.

Ideally the "wake garage" logo could be simple and clean enough to stand on its own, but could be used as part of more elaborate artwork... like an edgy vintage garage sign or something. But at the same time I could use just the "wake garage" text out of it to use it on its own, like for the top of a webpage or something. Or if I were to add a metal 3D treatment to it for special occasion one day.
I'm not hell bent on a specific design at all. My thoughts were vintage hot rods themes, surf style themes, tool box themes, etc. Trying to give you as much as I can -- but the sky is absolutely the limit in terms of concept. I'm too close to the trees right now to see the forest.
*** If you're bored and want to look at stuff... Wake Garage site will include DIY projects to add to your boat, such as "Malibu boat's surf gate" add-on, for example. Also stereo upgrades, mechanical projects, and of course some repairs/maintenance, just like you'd expect with a "garage."
I hope you participate and I appreciate your work... I'm all thumbs. Email me with questions if you want! firstname.lastname@example.org
