DraFay Inc got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Create Goddess Logo for Fantasy Themed Products

Spa & Esthetics
Our target market loves fantasy beasts/characters, fantasy novels, video games, magic, and Renaissance Fairs. DraFay is a combination of the words Dragon and Fay. I plan on creating a fantasy world and storyline with specific characters to go along with the products. The audience age would be 17 and up. We currently make and sell handcrafted wax melts and candles. We plan to expand into other items, such as bath products, room sprays, car fresheners, etc.
I’m interested in combination logos. I would like the logo to be simple, resizeable, and identifiable for both small (a 3x2 label) and large items (banners, etc.) The D and the F in DraFay should be capitalized, and it is one word. I would like the font type to be the black chancery font, or something similar as it needs to be legible when small, and it needs to highlight the upper and lowercase letters in the name. I would like the logo to be a full-body humanoid goddess with long hair, and long flowing Feather wings that are attached from the back (not under the arms) and reach the ground. The goddess should be petite in weight (thin), and not overly busty (about a B or so, ie. I want her to look female but not top-heavy.) She should have slightly wider hips (Hips of a woman who had children). I would like it to look as if the goddess is casting magic to create the name DraFay. I do not have a preference on which way the goddess is facing however I do want her to be stoic and graceful. Also, the logo should draw the reader's eye's down so their line of sight will go from the top of the logo to the product description that will be below. As far as colors go, I like teals, purples, blacks, and Gold. One or more of the colors can be incorporated not all of them need to be used. I would like to be able to use the logo on both Black and White labels. I have attached a few logos I found online that show the colors I enjoy and the type of wings I am looking for. Please note, the wings in the last attachment are the type of shape I would prefer. They do not have to be in the same layout, they can be shown from the angle you feel is best.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Logo design starts at €269.

Gorgeous designs, very responsive to feedback, great communication, sophisticated and polished work. Highly recommended. I started with using this designer for my logo, and went on to also use this designer for business card design, Facebook cover, and brand guide. Very pleased.
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
