Rasyid is an excellent designer; his first design was spot on and required only little adjustment. He immediately understood the briefing and translated it into a design that fits our products and image. He's also been pro-active to provide a number of alternatives during the contest to allow us to choose, and has worked patiently and diligently to make the adjustments. Communications are easy, fast and polite. We continue to work with Rasyid on the brand guide and highly recommend to work with him.
Thank you N36! You were very responsive to the brief and I am really happy with our new logo. It was an excellent experience.
Independent thinker and designer who came up with a completely different idea than all others and who convinced by far the most people I showed it.

Our company sells boat plans and kits to build unique wooden rowboats. These are not your traditional rowboats, but unique boats for expedition style travel, rough waters and camping boats. Please see our website http://www.angusrowboats.com to see the boats. We also sell oars and auxiliary sailing system to convert a rowboat into a sailboat. Our target market is generally retired men who like boats, young men who want to build a boat for an adventure, price conscious consumers who find it cheaper to build a boat than buy one.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What colors do you want to see in your design?

I'd like to explore the following colors:
Blues: Knowledge, trust, calm and honesty.
Dark neutrals: Formality, mystery, exclusivity and luxury.
Oranges: Creativity, adventure and happiness.

We're looking for a design where you can clearly see the name "Angus Rowboats" along with a stylized image of a rowboat or something nautical such as oars. It should not be a traditional style rowboat like a dory, since that's not the type of rowboat we make. We're open to your ideas, as long as the logo is fairly classic. Preferential colors would be blue and neutral colors, maybe orange as well. Please see our website http://www.angusrowboats.com to learn more about the company and see our boats.
