See our current logo, which we feel is out-dated (the first two images). It is the logo with the graphical representation of two spotlights. I have included the green version, which is the usual version, and a grayscale version. We do not want to use this color green.
The other logos are from our University, and from other programs and departments within the university. This will give you an idea of the design environment across the various schools and departments.
I include these to give you general color, font and design references, but please do not feel limited by these. We hope you will be inspired to be inventive, and to share a variety of approaches based on your own taste and sensibility.
Note: No "film strip" or "film reels" or any other cliche representation of the entertainment business. Any designs that include those kinds of elements will be immediately rejected. We are looking for a fresh and inventive visual approach that reflects the fact that we watch movies and TV shows, and play games, on many different kinds of screens. It’s a digital world!
Our program does not teach production skills, so we do not teach writers or directors. This is a _business_ degree program for serious aspiring young professionals looking to break into the business with significant training across Content, Legal, Marketing, Distribution and other related skills. Please remember the business nature of the program when you are coming up with ideas.
Please remember that this logo will be used on our business cards and our letterhead, as well as on posters, our website and other promotional material.
