Wow, I am absolutely blown away by the quality of the work, professionalism and his ability to translate my rambling brief into a logo masterpiece. Still Ill is a gem on the 99d platform and I feel lucky to have crossed paths with him on this journey. I was able to select the winning design early saving other designers valuable time and effort. I will 100% reach out for future 1v1 projects with Still Ill, and I recommend anyone thinking of inviting him to a contest or 1v1 project and his portfolio resonates - pull the trigger, you will not be disappointed!

This is a company that will sell branded merchandise (t-shirts, hats, bumper stickers, martial arts gis, etc). The target audience is males between the ages of 16-35 with a specific interest in brazilian jiu-jitsu (brazilian jiu-jitsu is submission grappling, similar to wrestling or Judo but the objective is make your opponent "tap out" rather than to pin him). It is often used as the base fighting style in mixed martial arts. The individuals involved are typically athletic and tough. It is a very "macho" crowd where toughness, competitiveness, and respect are the most highly prized character traits. They are typically fans of the UFC, and often embrace warrior culture such as the spartans or the samarai.

I am looking for something simple yet distinct. I have a vision in my head of something similar to "Manto" or the "Tapout" logos I attached. The third image is of a triangle choke, which is iconic of brazilian jiu-jitsu. I would like to incorporate that if possible. I am very open to suggestions and ideas, so I would love to see what you come up with.
