How Cisneros Corporation started their infographic journey
Who are you known as?
Motorsport Safety Foundation
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Story to tell in the infographic
The idea is to be as creative as possible. I am looking to start a monthly info graphic series related to motorsport safety that will be a digital newsletter that will promote sharing due to its fun portrayal of the information as well as the good data behind it. There will be several different topics but this initial series will be around G-forces and its effects on the human body during a crash. Others will be showing what G-forces can be experienced at different speeds crashing into different barrier types. How the information is portrayed is not important. It simply needs to be captivating and easy to follow. This first one will simply establish what G forces are experienced in normal everyday things to extraordinary events.
Data to include in the infographic
-Standing on Earth at Sea Level: 1G-all good
-Bugatti Veyron 0-60mph: 1.55G- side effects include grinning and uncontrolled laughter
-Top Fuel dragster 1/4 miles 4.4s: 4.2G-vision begins to be affected
-Formula One peak lateral turn: 6G-Difficulty with breathing and holding head upright
-Apollo 16 on re-entry: 7.2G- accidental dirtying of underpants
-Fighter jet turn: 12G- loss of vision, loss of consciousness (G-LOC)
-Serious Injury or death: >25G
-Highest survived G-force: 214G Kenny Brack Indy driver-broken sternum, ribs, vertebrae, femur, ankle
Elements to include in the infographic
Nothing in particular
Think about how to design a look and feel that is fitting with the foundation logo and will become the standard for the info graphics for all future versions regardless of the information being portrayed.
