We want a design for the main home page or our website to evoke the theme of the attached painting from a museum. Specifically, the verbal theme of the website is "Silicon Valley - A State of Mind" That is also the caption of the painting attached to help creativity, we do not want a replica of the painting. The website should have a top menu with standard options like about, contact, FAQ, etc ... and it should have a footer with more detailed items, but the theme, the main view of the website, should be inviting users to join a community about start ups in their non-US market, and, more important, to click for more information about the online courses we have available for them. THe call to action is either to register for one of the featured courses or to get more information about workshops and events.
Addition to the brief three days later: OK designers, with apologies, "the head" isn't working. We need to back off the painting in the design specs. Not so literal. Do it without a big head. We really like the website look and feel of udacity.com but of course we want ours, not theirs. White backgrounds are preferable. We want the theme that Silicon Valley is a state of mind, but that's a good thing. We are in the Silicon Valley, we like it, we want to bring Silicon Valley startup expertise to the rest of the world. Ignore the painting if it helps. Be free of that and come up with something indicating the bright side of the silicon valley state of mind.
I'm not deleting the painting but please don't do another head. Don't take it literally.
