$100 for two Web 2.0 style buttons
Check out david n's Button or icon contest…
I need to have to have two buttons designed to serve as: 1. login/register button 2. voting widget that updates via AJAX to reflect number of votes once voting action is taken
What's your vision?
Desired Color Scheme: red, white Desired Style: Web 2.0 Accepted File Formats: jpeg, PSD I am in the process of building a site for automotive enthusiasts, with one of the features being the ability to submit and vote on news. As such, the buttons need to be clearly and instantly recognizable as automotive related. In other words, those who know cars should know instantly that the button was meant to be styled after an "engine start" button, which is becoming commonplace among sportier cars. I am looking for someone to design two buttons, styled after the following example. (See the picture with the engine start button.) More examples or better pics can be found via a simple Google search for "Honda S2000 engine start button." http://automobiles.honda.com/models/interior_gallery.asp?ModelName=S2000 While there are a number of other manufacturers who employ the same type of button, I used the Honda one as an example because it was red, which is one of the main colors being used for my site. To elaborate, I'd like to see designs that put a Web 2.0 spin on the button. It should still look like the real thing, but maybe with a glow/reflection/bubble effect. For the text, please create one that says "LOGIN/REGISTER" and one that simply says "VOTE" towards the bottom of the button, leaving space above it for the number of votes to be displayed. The font needs to match as well, so please keep that in mind. To recap, the design elements that are required: 1. silver ring around button 2. red button 3. white text in capitalized letters - font needs to match example Winner should be able to provide the buttons in a variety of formats - jpeg, gif, png, and vector in order to make it easy to integrate into a theme. UPDATED: I will need files in jpeg and PSD format, in a high enough resolution that won't be adversely affected when shrunken down. I think the standard disclaimer of watermarking all contest entries applies to protect all parties. Method of payment will be PayPal. I look forward to picking a winner soon! Thanks in advance.
