Header/Banner for New Online Air Conditioner Shop
Check out oliver1's Button or icon contest…
I am looking for a really nice and clean banner to go along the top of my new air conditioner sales website called CoolAndFresh.co.uk When I refer to banner, I'm talking about a header strap along the top that contains the title of the website and some imagery to complement it. I really want people to arrive at the site and feel it is the place to buy a product that is going to help them get refreshed and relaxed.
What's your vision?
Desired Color Scheme: Blue and white Desired Style: Fresh and light, relaxing and chilled. See the full description for details. Accepted File Formats: JPG, GIF The website is about air conditioners and will be called CoolandFresh.co.uk and I'd like that to appear prominently in the banner. Just to reiterate, when I refer to banner, I'm talking about a main header strap along the top of every page and not a 'banner ad'. Think in terms of the title of a newspaper and how that runs along the top of the front page. The dimensions I'd like it to be designed to are 860 pixels wide by 120 pixels deep. I am a bit flexible on the depth of it, so if it needs to be a bit deeper for the design to work that could be okay, but the horizontal width is fixed at 860px. I'd like it as a JPG or high quality GIF - as long as it's not blurry at all and a reasonable low file size I'm okay with either format. I'd also require the original Photoshop (or whatever) file from the eventual winner and all copyright over it to be mine, so that if I need to tweak it ever in the future I can do so with no issues or claims from the designer. The website will be called CoolandFresh.co.uk and that name should feature in the title. Also imagery is very important, although if you use any pictures I'd need you to show that the source is royalty free (may be safer if you create graphical effects from scratch and avoid anything that already is out there). The main point of the design is to convey a feeling of freshness and chilled comfort. Of course white and blue are the obvious colours but I am always open to suggestions. The air conditioner products will be suitable for use in both homes and offices so that may be one angle to take with the design (e.g. some graphic to represent staying cool at home, another to show staying fresh at work). But that's just an idea and if you have a better one I'd love to see it. Other than that, it's over to you and I really hope I can find some cool designs! p.s. this is my first go at creating a design contest so I'll try to do my best regarding following conventions and please bear with me as I learn how it all works.
