Style/theme ideas

High end and clean. Probably use a hard plastic or wood for the card. Black or Red brand colors. Logo on back of card with future website below it. Smaller logo on front with business information (name, title, phone number and email address) and along with icons for IG, Twitter and facebook next to social handle name. Use the same font and brand colors. Font Name is Speakeasy Flare and Speakeasy Modern. Color is attached.

Lowercase for name of business. Please spell it how I write it Cigar Savoir Faire (capital first letter for each word). Only use brand colors or wood color for card.

Clean, minimalist business cards for event production company

Business card deployment of a logo I previously designed for Jazz pianist Neeki Bey. Ikeen is an event production company specialised in the arts, particularly music. We wanted a simple, clean and minimal design, but I also wanted to make it meaningful, even if only to us. The accentuation of dark space on the back of the card is intended to reinforce anticipation ahead of the event. On the front of the card the line art wave, which in the logo is an echo of the spirit and experience of music, is rotated, becoming the flow of events in time. The card on the whole is in portrait orientation, but the contact information is in landscape. As a jazz musician primarily, I wanted to have in play an element of dissonance. The final detail is the extended tracking on Neeki's name, taking advantage of — and accentuating and making memorable — the three-letter concision of his surname. Unexpected and off-centre, the design underlines what Jazz is: the breaking of rules.
