D-SIGN is fantastic to work with! He is easy to communicate with, takes direction easily and very responsive. Plus his designs are amazing. Thanks for all the hard work, Randi!
Artist was truly original and delivered exactly what we wanted. Had very few major revisions, was quick to respond and allowed us to end the contest well ahead of schedule. Will try to work with them again.

Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Hi, we are starting a small independent chain of pet food/supply stores in Texas. Our store looks more like a farmers market (reclaimed wood, metals, browns/blacks/grays with some teal/blue accents) than a big box retail space. We do not sell live animals, but are very involved with the local shelter, community outreach programs and education in regards to pet nutrition, husbandry and wellness. We want a neighborhood, hip, vintage vibe for the store/brand. We emphasize customer service and sell as many locally sourced goods as possible. We carry majority of the natural high quality pet food and goods, produced in texas and the US but also try to provide healthy choices for those with a limited budget. We would like our brand to be hip and youthful, but not cold. We definitely want to avoid the typical cutesy animal themed logo. We are planning on being very active with social media, and also working on an app so we can provide easy ordering and curbside pickup for clients.
Our target audience is pet owners of all ages but definitely want to hit the millennial market. High quality goods, and food manufactured in regulated facilities make our products more expensive so we want an upscale feel as well.
