Our website with current logo can be found at http://www.CohenJaffe.com, although our logo and brand are quite boring.
Our artistic style can be described as "contemporary conservative". Please avoid cartoon type designs. But we are open to other symbols and shapes.
We are not "ambulance chasers".
We are approachable yet professional.
We are dedicated and experienced.
We are tech savvy.
We protect and guide our clients.
We are involved in the lives of our clients.
The vast majority of our employees have been with our firm for more than 15 years. We have been in existence for more than 30 years. We want to make our clients part of the process. We do not want to keep our clients at a distance. We are not a large law firm, which commonly are cold, rigid and impersonal. Yet we are not a small law firm without the resources and knowledge to battle our adversaries. We are in court every single day.
While on items such as letterhead, envelopes and business cards the full name of our law firm needs to appear, it does not necessarily have to appear on the artwork part of the logo design, as you can see from our current logo which just displays a "C" and a "J". I prefer earth tones such as greens and browns, as it seems to convey a warmer feel than other colors but we are open to all suggestions. With respect to the business card, the following information MUST be present, not necessarily in this order: name of law firm, name of attorney whose card it is, title of attorney (partner, associate, of counsel, etc) address, office telephone number, cell phone number, email address, website address (http://www.CohenJaffe.com) note the capital c and j in website address. Other information can be placed on the card if you would like, such as facebook, twitter, skype, QR code, etc. I would like the card to be double sided, which hopefully gives you room to put all the information on.
Some other ideas we would like to try to convey: strength, confidence, approachable, smart, advanced, experienced, contemporary (not old and stuffy), successful, accessible, innovative, reliable.
For us, a personal injury lawsuit is not just about the money. Its about putting our clients' lives back together.
I intend on taking an active role in this design process. I appreciate your entry, and hope my comments on your designs help the process. Thank you!
